I hadn’t heard people say that, but it makes sense now in light of the new wave 5 assortment that has been posted. Matches the AmiAmi listing to a T with the exception of Ep 7 Han now as the fifth figure, rather than “Chewbacca 2”.

From what some are saying…. “Chewbacca 2” was just code for the TFA Han Solo figure. Since his packaged figure showed up at the same time as the other figures coming in this wave.

You called it! Now confirmed to be the FO Stormtrooper Finn. Now I’m curious what a new version of Chewbacca could entail.

It’s odd, I know. However, I’ve passed on Finn myself. That may change after seeing the movie and getting to know the character, but for now I’m selective in my 6″ purchases, only buying the ones I personally connect with or find exciting. The Finn figure just doesn’t look exciting to me. My first 2 (Force Friday) choices were Rey and Kylo Ren, followed by X-Wing Pilot Poe in wave 2.

As far as Rey not selling without BB-8, I don’t know. I’m sure there are a number of people who were specifically after BB-8, but I also think female characters are woefully uncommon in this line as well as the 3.75″ line and fans are going to grab ’em where they can find ’em.

Didn’t you just use “not everyone thinks like you” as a defense? You sure seem to foster a lot of anger and hatred for the toys you don’t personally want. Almost as if you expect everyone to “think like you”.

Nobody? My massive Jar Jar collection says otherwise. Not everyone mindlessly hated Jar Jar like a hive mind. And they do still make merchandise an toys featuring him.

He was objectively terrible, though, and the figure wasn’t all that exciting. People don’t have to think like me (which seems like a strangely defensive remark), I’m just curious as to why people seem to avoid him. Apart from Chewie, which has already been made, I don’t see a rational reason to skip over Finn. That’s all I was saying.

You don’t have to understand the people who don’t want Finn. Not everyone thinks like you. Jar Jar was a main character in Episode One and no one wanted him either.

I don’t understand the people who don’t want Finn. He’s a main character, and from what we’ve seen… he’s awesome. One wonders if Rey would be in the same boat if she didn’t come with BB-8.
