In reply to Rob Redahl. I can't tell you how many times I walked right passed 19" R2-D2 at Walmart (the only place I've seen him) before I realized it was apart of the Jakks Pacific line. He's alright I suppose, just nothing to catch my attention. Now if I, you, any decent customizer were to give it a oily, gritty Tatooine paint job, it could be amazing. I kinda expect BB-8 will be the same with a clean paint job.

Very interested in this. Interested in seeing how the final product turns out. Not setting high expectations, so I won’t be disappointed if it turns out worse.
But it would be nice to be pleasantly surprised. From time to time.

In reply to Arnold Corso. Curious , is this 18" in the sense that it is in scale with 31" line, like R2 is? I imagine so. Hopefully it is in scale to R2, who is about 19", and not the same size as him.

Dam right that not a final image product…Jakks pacific hates putting any kind of paint on their products. The only weathering you will ever see on a Jakks Pacific is the actual weathering that result from being on a retail store shelf for 9 months after being handled and thrown around by hundreds of kids/employees.

That’s almost life-sized. Why not just add the extra 8” and make it life-sized?
