Hasbro definitely has a lot on their plate with Star Wars. I’m glad I actually like the TFA figures. Don’t worry about the length of your comments either, Bombad. I enjoy reading them and responding to you. 🙂

I could be wrong, but I don’t believe Hasbro made these TBS 3.75 an exclusive to
Walmart simply because Walmart asked that no one else be allowed to
carry them. More likely, Walmart was the only retailer that came on
board to support this higher priced “collector” line in this age of
dwindling sales.

Alternately, is it possible that Hasbro knows (or believes) that there is not a big enough market for these anymore and felt that having wide distribution across multiple retailers would over saturate the market, causing product to hang unsold, bringing reorders to a halt thereby dooming the line to one wave and they’re done?

I mean from a collector standpoint I wish I could walk into any store and find these, but perhaps in the current market it is better to have a bit of under-supply and have collectors clamoring for these than to have them stagnate on the pegs and everyone loose interest.

OK, my last thought, I promise. I know, or should I say I feel, that the majority of collectors would prefer super-articulated 3.75 to anything else, but could it be that Hasbro’s resources are spread too thin with 5-POA B-A-W, Armor Up, Mission Series, 12″ Heroes, Hero Mashers, Micro Machines, Titaniums, Titanium Helmets, TBS 6″, role play, not to mention Marvel, Transformers, Jurassic World and all their other product lines that they’ve run out of capacity to do a broader TBS 3.75″ line? I mean I doubt their resources are unlimited. If they wanted to make TBS 3.75″ a priority I’m sure they could rejigger some other things to make it happen, but are the sales numbers strong enough to make it worth their while?

I need to scout my Walmarts again soon, hope to find her and a few more Stormtroopers.

I feel you pain Hux. TBS 3.75 hit very lightly here (1 case per store unless I missed some). I’ve yet to see waves 2 or 3 in Oregon.

In my own personal experience, exclusives used to be the hardest Star Wars toys to find and then by about 2010 they became some of the easiest items to find (most of the time). Now it seems as though we are back to exclusives being something rare that you have to diligently seek. These Kmart exclusives and the Walmart TBS 3.75 specifically.

TBS 3.75 Finn head on TBS 3.75 FO Stormtrooper body? No, it doesn’t fit. I just tried it. The Stormtrooper neck post is considerably larger than Finn’s neck post.

Someone said they were gonna see if his head does fit on the stormtrooper body
on that figures review, they might have updated now, I will check.

I still haven’t found 3.75″ unmasked Kylo. I’ve found the desert and forest waves, but no luck on the others. I’m really enjoying these TFA figures. You were right about Resistance Rey, BTW. She is awesome. I really like Han but his hair color bothers me. Unkar Plutt and Finn are cool too. I wonder if the Walmart Finn’s head fits the Stormtrooper body? Then I could use the 5poa Finn helmet for a SA FN-2187.

Oh yeah…Lol, and also, when are people that collect 6 inch going to get unmasked Kylo?
