I totally agree.

On another note, the “assembly” of the 5POA figures also ruins mass purchases for customizers. We can’t boil and pop these things. If we could, we’d buy more – a lot more. This would prevent a lot of the backup of the figures like Goss Toowers and Hux. Hasbro is so clueless.

Yes indeed – an approach like the lines from 2005-2007 would be just fine now given the downward spiral the 3.75″ line has been in. A MSRP of $9.99, with a mix of articulation and some specific “all out awesome” figures and some lower grade here and there to balance it out… with the “average” figure being like this one in terms of quality:

You’re preaching to the choir my friend. 🙂 I think if they went with the Star Wars “Saga” or The Saga Collection approach (a mix of kids’ and collectors’ figures in the same pot), they could keep simply articulated and super-articulated figures in the same line. We didn’t care then, and although we’re spoiled now, I am sure we could all concede that it would be the best approach to take today (as well as quell a lot of the complaining and misery).

I get that Hasbro’s making money now, but they are just trying to squeeze out cheap dollars. It’s extremely frustrating because they could probably be doing even better if they were to reinvigorate the 3.75″ line with a more sensible approach… so much of the latter 3.75″ figures have never even made it to retail – I’m sure Hasbro can’t be happy about that.

Wassup Chewy?! It’s ironic how we’re billed the complainers when the ones that complain about the realists and their opinions and the health and hope for the line (us) are truly the extra annoyingly negative people. 🙂
