Hasbro did allude during the panel about a… let’s say curious, last-minute huge surge of tens of thousands of votes for Jaina given the fact she was not previously in the lead. So if something smells funny, it seems this is consistent with the official story.

Now this is a collection of figures I can get behind! I’ll take one of each please. Every one of these except Hera were on my wishlist of 6″ figures I’ll like to be made. The Emperor’s Royal Guard topped that list, but the others weren’t too far down the list. I never thought they’d make a Qui-Gon Jinn! Not after all the fan backlash about him in TVC, Movie Heroes and Discover The Force 3D. And not after the sea of pegwarming 6″ Ep. III Obi-Wans.

Now if only Hasbro would make 6″ Jar Jar, Bib Fortuna and Dengar, I’ll be a happy collector!

P.S. This Hera figure is actually pretty cool and I will likely buy one. It’s just that there are so many OT and PT characters I want first. I could have lived without it if it didn’t get made.
