Those first-shots are awesome. Flat (non-glossy) paint makes these look great. A friend had a few of the originals in 1982-ish, but 3-inch scale isn’t for me. I’m glad they went for 4″.

Too modern and Hasbro-ish for me. If these had been diecast metal like the original Mego figures I would support it but they are just too G.I. Joe modern for my taste.

Thats cool. anything 3.75 inch is great, but Im waiting for the kickstarter that does 3.75 inch Sci-Fi styled figures

I don’t remember these. I did have The Corps. figures as a kid and I’ve always liked them. I still grab one here and there at Walmart. These look great, though. And a playset?! Awesome. I wish them luck.

I remember having a few of the original figures as a kid. These new 1:18 ones look awesome. But I gotta admit I don’t have a good enough connection to the line to take the plunge. I do, however, wish these guys the best. I hope it becomes a HUGE success. It’s what collectors need in a world of 5 POA crap Star Wars figures and “throw ya a bone” TRU GIJoe 2 packs. These figures show respect to collectors who have kept SW and GIJoe afloat thru many years. Hasbro needs to take note.

These is also a kickstarter for western figures too. Chicken Fried Toys has a series of Dime Novel Legends. They, too, look awesome.

Again…Kudos to the guys and gals doing this and another kudos for anyone supporting them! Long live 1:18!
