Or as serial adult collectors may try to tell you… “you’re a horrible parent for buying your kids this crap. Teach them better”. Don’t listen to ’em Tom! This way your kids have the characters they love and can actually play with their toys without breaking joints or losing accessories, all at an affordable price.

By the way, what magical land is this that you live in, where Target employees bring out collectibles at their customer’s request? I’m always given the company line of we can’t. Don’t your Targets have the disclaimer sign posted in the toy department?

Seriously, at my local target I had to ask a customer service employee to grab me one from the back. That was five months ago, haven’t seen one since.

That would not surprise me in the least. I’m still baffled how all the 5-POA haters out there have no problem snatching up every last Resistance Rey to be found.

I have most of the figures in this set already (except Resistance Rey which I never found and a friend just now picked up for me), so I have no need to repurchase. Most of the sculpts are pretty good if you can deal with retro 5-POA. I love my Jedi Luke and my Chewbacca (now that I repainted him to be a darker richer redder brown not the sick Wookiee brown he was originally cast in). From this photo, Chewie’s color looks improved.

He actually looks a lot better than some of the Darth Maul figures we got during Ep. I.
