I admit the Jar Jar Tsum Tsum was the gateway drug to this line for me when it was released awhile back. I then found I “needed” another of my favorites, C-3PO which in turn required his companion R2-D2. And just yesterday I came across Queen Amidala and Darth Maul at Target, which would be great compliments to my Jar Jar.

Recently released Dewback and Sand People were also tempting.

We all have our favorite character(s) that sometimes act as a gateway into another line.
Even those of us who’d never buy these things may stop and do a double take at a favorite character, though.
