In reply to Rykrof_Enloe. I remember these well. Even saw a case of these at WINTERCON NYC today for $5 each or (5 for $20). I recall it was Hasbro that started to copy these guys with figures from the rebel trooper (saga line) on... also saw and remembered the German one with the coat was used in a lot of really great imperial officer customs.

Sure, I want more articulation instead as well.

But, if I had to choose between alternate arms and the big weapons, I’d go with the arms because that at least enhances the figure.

Plus in theory you could swap them out with other figures as well for some quick and easy customizing, or just some fun for the kids. That would be a nice bonus.

I’m not happy about the current state of Hasbro, but I honestly thing some people are just looking to piss and moan. Always have, always will. It’s never good enough (there have been times when I’ve been in that group too, I admit).

Yes, right now the hobby is truly sad, but even years ago during the glory days there was a segment of people complaining non-stop. That makes it very discouraging to even try and propose ideas.

Hasbro is sitting on a format right now for the main 3.75″ lineup that I don’t like either. This is something to try and improve it some, since they seem to have no problem throwing in extra plastic… why not try this instead for a bit if they are so hell-bent on denying articulation in this line right now?
