Maybe. He did the same thing with Kahn in Into Darkness. Either way it’s lame. We should have a TFA Luke by now. I really don’t understand why we never got a proper General Leia. Both would be great in the Walmart line, but really would be fine in 5poa since they don’t see a lot of action in TFA. I hope we get to see Luke in action in VIII. I also hope they dedicate the film to Carrie. 🙁

The first thing I thought about when Disney announced a new sequel trilogy in 2012 was seeing Luke on the screen again and getting a figure of him. I wanted it for the day of the movie. A year later and still nothing. All because of Abrams and his secrecy bs.
