Well, this site just leaked the Galen Erso figure on a Rogue One card… so I think all they were doing was a case reshuffle before it went out. Goes to show that these comment threads can lead to overblown rumors that aren’t true.

5POA never makes sense.

I’ve never gotten the impression from all their [Hasbro’s] comments over the years about the return of Vintage that they want it to be 5POA. For as much as some fans grumble about the packaging, and yes, I agree The Vintage Collection cards are beautiful, I believe the bigger contention is we’re not getting enough high quality super-articulated 3.75″ figures. If you were to poll the fans, I am certain more would vote for new s/a 3.75″ on Power Of The Jedi cards than would vote for 5POA on vintage cards. The cards are great, but ultimately isn’t it the figure inside that we are after?

I followed the link before it was taken down, but there wasn’t much to go on. I have not heard anything about what the set might entail. If it’s 6″, than perhaps repacks of Farmboy Luke, Obi-Wan, Leia and Darth Vader gathered in one boxed set?

After my knee-jerk reaction of “Nooooooooo… ! Why are you cancelling these?”, my next, far more rational thought was this is just a matter of rejiggering what figures will be a part of this case.

well its every 2 hours on my work breaks :), it’s all good. the cynic in me thinks it was just a way to have a new toy since I think they gave us too much with 7 by showing all the troopers and ships. In any event I’m sure it well be an exclusive that will be impossible to find. speaking of exclusives enjoy this pic of the new Walmart AT-ST I got yesterday and the real reason the empire lost the Battle of Jakku 😉
