Personally I’m excited for this film, I always wanted to see Han Solo win the Millennium Falcon from Lando in that infamous card game. I hope they capture the tension just like Casino Royale.

A few people moaned about Rogue One going to be rubbish and look how great that turned out. I’ll stay open minded, hey it’s another SW movie at the end of the day. I think the resistance though is to someone else playing Han Solo, granted at first i was a little unsure myself about it at first. Just so long as they don’t do what that awful Ghostbusters did and we end up with cameos from Harrison Ford and Billy Dee Wiiliams in disguise.

Can’t say I’m interested in a pre-ANH Han story, and considering the character is now dead, I’m even less excited they’re making this movie. Nothing against the cast, they might turn out great, but why return to the OT era with recasts? TFA and beyond makes sense, but I don’t need to look back at insignificant storys.

I just dont see his likeness being even close to Ford. Even looking at something random outside facial likeness, his receeded hairline, makes him seem older than ANH Han. Not to mention the totally-off reddish haircolor. Hope we are not getting some overwrought SNL sketch…
