How can even the most aggressive ebay pre-scalpers like conventionsales possibly pre-sell this with the new LEGO raffle system that allows only one per person per the whole weekend, even if they win the chance to buy? conventionsales at least addresses the fact that they’d refund if they fail to get the item (aka win a raffle to get to buy it). But other
ebay scalpers are just putting up 3 of them at a time with a straight face and no mention of the risk. Where is the justice?! lol, justice. I crack myself up.

There really has to be something that can be done to stop some of the most low-down pre-scalping of things like this one. Why don’t some of these big companies just buy one of the items in order to reveal who the sellers are and bust them? I’m sure they’d be able to get the sale reversed. It would be well worth tying up a few hundred of their corporate bucks to try and really dig down on getting the badges pulled of those worst rule-breakers at the show.

In reply to Rob Redahl. I totally agree. The parts should be easily attainable through other sources. It would be great to have a Death Star "shell" and add the modular sections as you see fit.

The parts list and recipe for this set will be a great help. Mostly standard pieces going by the pic, all easier (not to mention cheaper) to get from the secondary market.
Han’s hair looks to be a new sculpt but I don’t see any other exclusive elements.

Lego needs to start releasing more Death Star modular sets like this one.

I can’t go to the Star Wars Celebration. I would love to have the set, but I would want to build it, not just leave in that awesome packaging. I’ll wait until someone posts instructions and build it myself. These will sell for ridiculous prices.
