I have quite a few of the Queen Amidala/Padme dolls, but will pass on these. I do expect they will do well and appeal to an under-served section of fans.

I’m interested in the new series focusing on the female heroes of SW, but what about the quasi-heroes like Ventress and Talzin?! Looking forward to where they go with the storylines. Most excited for Ahsoka!

I’m not against these, but as a Chewbacca fan I’m not sure how they could make a worse Chewbacca. Quite possibly the worst of all time

In a world where acceptable sexism towards men is increasing, particularly media (especially adverts) i find this a bit sexist. Equality and inclusivity is about being the same. It’s not inclusivity, it’s exclusivity. Its hey boys and girls here everything sw for you, but girls here’s a special thing for you. One that’ll likely be about strengths, support, empowerment etc. You know those things little boys don’t need to be taught… It’s been reported boys are falling behind in school because girls are getting extra support, lesson on empowerment etc. But because it’s boys and shows inequality to them its buried in the news. And this is just another example of special treatment when i felt sw was more inclusive now. I didn’t care the last two movies the leads were female by the way, but to those who did well this will just feel like further proof. Then on top of that you could say this is a cynical attempt to cash in on the superhero girl type lines.
