I’m “debating it”, but since its on my radar………. it will be when I’m on the hunt in say late Oct, when all the main new FF stuff is out and there is that lull in the action, but I want to get something new.

Totally agree. I was just trying to point out that they kinda had the right idea in mind. We need playsets and display pieces. They just messed the idea up, but I was just saying if they did it right(as you described it, basically), it COULD have been ok and a step in the right direction. Including a figure wouldn’t be bad either, just not a statue. More like an army builder so that when you buy multiple sets you get more soldiers. I bthis case an RFT would have been good. Those Stormtroopers need someone fight!

I’d like the hallway piece a lot more if it was 2-3 times longer with more of the wall, and had no figures or electronics. And made so you could connect several walls to make it as big as you want by buying more sets. That would be worth $50 easily. Pretty sure what they ended up making here is going to end up on clearance. Bad, Hasbro. Just bad.

I actually like the hallway piece. If they sold that alone with no electronics for something like $20 I’d consider getting it. I definitely don’t like the other Centerpiece one with Luke and the AT-AT foot. But the Tantive IV has always been a favorite set of mine. Also, there’s no 6″ Rebels to add to that display. I’d definitely pick it up on clearance because, like I said, I really like the actual hallway and door part. The electronics are unnecessary, just add to the price and I don’t get the idea of adding statues to figure displays. I said this above, but if they sold just that hallway piece(without electronics) with a Rebel Fleet Trooper figure for around$30 or so it might interest me. I think the Centerpiece thing was an ok idea(as in giving us dioramadisplay pieces)that was poorly executed because of the electronics and statue that are just unnecessary.

Getting the Centerpiece hallway? I like it, but it would have been way better sans electronics with an exclusive RFT figure instead of a Vader statue and at about $30-$35. With no current 6″ RFT, it’s going to be a pretty one-sided diorama.
