Yeah I can understand. I always hold back on these figures if I can help it. I only grab the “in demand” (or must have’s…. Like Lando) for $20 when I’ve ever seen them.

really impressed with hasbro, sdcc has been great two years in a row! i might be able to pass on a few of them they announced but as for rex, leia and the fleet trooper, they are must haves! i started collecting black series with a really strict list of which ones i’d get and which ones i wouldn’t and it is fully redundant now!

I wouldn’t want you or Yakface to do something that will get you in hot water. My aggravation wasn’t with Yakface but rather with Facebook that requires you to create an account and sign in just to read one article.

It isn’t defensive of Paulskywalker to voice his viewpoint just as you did yours. You both laid out your views fairly well. He’s just continuing the conversation in discussing the topic at hand.

I think should have gotten the fallen AT-AT shelter with Rey as well. 😉

I have no problem with “ultimate” 6-inch figures that come packed with every last accessory imaginable, but I also realize that would jack up the price considerably and not necessarily help the line sell more units and be more successful. I think the current pricepoint works well, even though one or two more “essential” accessories included with each figure would be most welcome and appreciated.

And now we know there IS an Ahch-To (Act 2) Rey. And she is stunning! 🙂

I paid $20 for Jyn on FF and then paid full retail again when she came packed in the Target exclusive 3pk. I also paid full retail for Krennic, C-3PO (alright, he’s TFA) and Scarif Stormtrooper. Good thing I did, ’cause that wave came and went in a matter of a week or so, never to hit clearance. Chirrut and Baze never made it to these parts. The only figure I got at deep discount was Eadu Cassian, since I had skipped him initially. Oh, I suppose I can also count unmasked Kylo Ren. I initially skipped that one. I think it’s a beautifully rendered face sculpt, but since I bought the helmeted version upon initial release I didn’t think I needed every slightly different version of him (also skipped the Kmart Starkiller exclusive version). But hey, at under $10, I figured why not.

they rushed the figure to retail, hence the paint app update. i don’t know you gotta learn how to criticize the stuff you love…..i love the TBS6 line but some of the execution and reasoning from the star wars staff at hasbro is infuriating and maddening. now i’m not saying you are one of these people but it seems like the newer generation who just started collecting star wars with the six inch line just seem to think hasbro can do no harm and that’s giving hasbro a false sense of accomplishment when they have really just blundered their way through this line . when i peruse black series hashtags on instagram it’s nothing but hot topic kids who just started collecting with teh black series 6 inch line laying down heaps of praise to Steve Evens, a dude who posts pictures of rotting 5poa on clearance with the caption “deals galore” thinking its funny. these people have no clue
