Dang…..don’t give them ideas!

I don’t know. I’m head over heels for this Resistance Rey, whereas Jedi Training Rey strikes me as too much of a stereotypical female jedi character from any number of EU sources. Maybe I’ll change my mind once I see the movie and have something tangible to relate this outfit to. I know it’s all subjective, but that’s where I’m coming from. I don’t doubt TLJ Rey will sell just fine though (unless she’s overproduced like 6″ Jyn).

All of the Reys? Are you sure? What about young abandoned on Jakku Rey? What about grimacing tortured by Kylo Ren Rey? What about X-Wing Pilot helmeted Rey eating in the shadow of a fallen AT-AT? Just sayin’. There are options. 🙂

This doesn’t seem out of order to me (other than releasing an Ep. VIII version before a Ep. VII version). Force Friday is all about the new movie coming out and they want to showcase the big heroes and villains from that media. Wave 1 always seems to ship heavy, even if not as much as is needed for the actual Midnight Madness. So get plenty of the new Jedi Training Rey out there for casual and die hard fans alike and then when things die down a few month later, release Resistance Rey in more conservative numbers.

This is good news indeed if faces are going to look this good moving forward.

I always use to buy figures right after seeing a new SW film. Then Hasbro ruined it for me with TFA. The only figures I could find that day were the 6″ Guavian(admittedly a nice figure but I wanted 3.75″) and the overpriced AU Chewie. With RO I actually held off on opening some figures for the day of the movie, but it wasn’t the same.

She does seem to wear this outfit in TLJ. At least at the beginning of the film.
