yes but seems a lazy rendition and clunky. Maybe the design was rushed. This the down side of films coming out every year. Things are not fleshed out long enough and approved too quickly.

To each their own, but I just personally like how Samurai armor tends to looks like layered scales, where Centurion comes of too sleek for my tastes, but even that look turns up re-imaged in the screaming citadel cross over comics, which is cool also IMO
