Exactly my feelings. I don’t have the budget or the space. The comic-con DROIDS series figures looked great in person. I almost got Yakface only cuz its actually cheaper in that scale.

But this set looks really good. Packaging and all with a price honestly not the worst. I just could never pull that trigger. Best release of 40th to my eyes. Imagine if Hasbro would have just done this with Black series proofs as a mail away instead of the Vader set.

I saw most if the first twelve when they first came out at a comicmusic store. I wanted every one, but they’re expensive and take up a lot of space. I really want some of the ROTJ figures they’ve been doing recently. Like Jedi Luke. 🙂

I just saw my first “live” one of these GG Jumbos last week, Snaggletooth, at a collectibles shop. He looked fantastic! This Early Bird Kit looks great and should make some collectors happy that missed out on this figures during their initial release. For me, I’ll have to pass. No room to collect these big figures.

The packaging can be opened by simply removing a few circular stickers on the back of the clamshell. So you could open it and return it to its packaging without any damage to the card. Chewbacca was $40 when I got him and they had two left so I got both. So I actually have one open and one sealed, although i keep the opener in the package hanging on the wall. Normally i don’t get two weeks f more expensive stuff, but it’s a wonderful figure and $40 seemed like a good deal.

Is yours loose or carded? I’d like to have one eventually but I can’t decide if I would be an opener or not.
