I finally found these today at Walmart. They were in the doll aisle with the rest of the dolls, not with the Star Wars action figures. I think this store has done an intermediate reset. They did a reset a week or two ago, but the Star Wars section is very small now, and there’s no pegs for the basic 5POA line, so I’m guessing they’ll do a further reset before Force Friday. It will be interesting to see if the Forces of Destiny dolls stay in the doll aisle or get moved over to be with the action figures.

I hope this line does well; the prices do seem a bit high, but they are comparable to similar products. They are pretty nice; I like Resistance Rey and Sabine the best so far. Endor Leia is really nice, too–does not have the ‘action feature’, but more articulation, which is nice. Looking forward to Ahsoka, and would love to see them bring in Mara Jade, but I know that’ll never happen…

I picked all of these up at a local Target and they were displayed on the end cap and in the Star Wars section as others have described. I have never really thought of the Star Wars section as a boys section but I definitely think it should stay in that section. I have my original action figures from 1977 and still collect the basic 3.75 figures, but these remind me of the Leia barbie-type doll I also had as a kid but better because they have weapons instead of a stupid hairbrush and mirror. These are so well made and I already love displaying them. While my kids will be able to play with them, they will not be allowed to keep them with their own toys and wind up a hot mess. I am very curious as to why they rolled these out in August as opposed to Force Friday. I’m generally not out toy shopping in August and there’s been no general media push on TV. I have a feeling these will be very popular Christmas toys.

Just came back from the target I got all mine (from the back) They have both an end-cap on the edge of the ‘girls’ section, and some in the SW section, which I think is smart cause on a few occasions I have came in “from the back” to go right to the SW section, and would miss end-cap stuff. nothing at walmart.
