the price is really killing my enthusiasm. while the features aren’t much more than what i remarked sarcastically, i would really like to use this as a shelf piece to place a lot of figures on for display purposes. TFA falcon was way over-priced, that thing was as hollow and light as a $15 transformer from the same company . the R1 at act was just some twilight zone thing, i dont know what they were smoking when they were pricing that thing

I missed them. I really wanted to see, or rather hear, the Force Link device. What do you think of it and this set based on the commercials?

Exactly. My only real problem is the price. It’s like the TFA Falcon and RO AT-ACT. The Falcon was a decent toy and should’ve cost half of the original price or less. The AT-ACT should’ve just not had the electronics. Something the size of the old Kenner AT-AT. I thought the cargo container on the AT-ACT was a good idea because it gave people SOMETHING to use as a base. Just like the Falcon was also a small, sort-of playset. But with those two the price killed it. I think the same thing will happen with this playset.

I like it. I wish it was less expensive. But I totally agree that it’s a step in the right direction.

Agreed. I’m getting also (but i have no life either) It is going to be a tough/fine line-collectors wanting a ‘playset’-they get one but poo-poo it for (insert reason here) and not buy it-Hasbro says well screw that, never makes another one-collectors want a playset.

there are many on these forums that seam to think- ‘don’t buy it, it will force them to make a better one in the future’. the reality is, they wont bother. Personally I feel the best course would be to get it (within reason) and give them LOTS of feed back on what would make the next one better. just my 2 cents.

For $100-$120, I bet they could have done exactly that and not had the BB-8 transforming feature… and made the back side look like pure awesome Death Star walls… sigh
