In reply to SID. I like the hallway part. The statue and price are just ridiculous. If you think about the nice Rebel Trooper coming in TBS, along with the re-release of the Stormtrooper and beautiful new Vader, that hallway piece could be made into a fantastic display. But at $50 for the Centerpiece plus $20 for each Stormtrooper, RFT and Vader it's definitely pricey. I'll grab one when it's on clearance for $10-$15. Which will definitely happen, btw.

Hasbro better be careful with these…50 bones for a plastic statue (unleashed). These are worth $25 max. I sense these will be on clearance faster than most other products and will likely not be made again. If I want a statue and already $50 into it then I will go all out and pay another $100 to get something way nicer…heck at that price there are a lot of other options that open up…figuarts and many other star wars products in which are WAAAAAYYYY better products.

Now…if Hasbro made nice diorama pieces, like space walls, and other 1/12 scale scenes like that for display cases and shelves geared towards adult collectors…I think they would hit the nail on the head. The statue figure is just driving up the price for no reason. If they used that plastic to extend the scene or make walls for the background I think they would have had a money maker.

Did you not hear the news? Some retailers haven’t even go there fair share yet!

My retailer never got the 40th anniversary until july. Months after it’s own street date which left plenty of time for internation distribution. Especially considering it’s been distributed in AUSTRALIA like it has been for ten or so years
