As I myself live in houston and have recently just lost everything due to harvey. My collection of toys was the last thing on my mind. I was just today let back into my area to see how much of a home I have left. Its extremely sad to see the thousands of dollars I put into building a complete TBS6 collection completely decimated in a couple of days.

I quickly stopped caring about the toys and started caring more for food for my family and a safe place to sleep. Cause our house is unlivable.

Unfortunately the IRS has not issues a state of disaster so all the people hoping to get financial help from their 401ks are screwed. So anything and I truly mean anything helps. Were sitting in a basketball gym eating canned fruits. But were running out of supplies fast.

Yup. I can’t even imagine going into FF, spending a lot of money, and while as I type this I’m seeing people on TV that lost everything they have. Tbh, I feel rather guilty if that makes any sense. I think it would be cool if we all took a bit out of our FF budget for donations. It’s great that you guys posted this. Most SW fans I meet seem to be good people so it’s the right group to reach out to.

It’s terrible for anyone to lose everything they have, but I always think of fellow collectors during tragedies like this too. Red Cross is a good place to donate. I trust them.

I’m just north of Houston, and while I am safe with my family, I have friends and family in dire situations. Some have had to abandon their homes entirely; some have gotten stranded. It’s horrifying, and it’s really difficult to be stuck at home, unable to get out to help anyone.
