I’m actually happy about this, I purchased quite a few of these back in the day. I never got Boba though so hopefully he comes repackaged in this line!

I sense collectors’ heads exploding around the world.

Honestly, I didn’t hate these. I wasn’t blown away by them, but I did pick up a few sets with characters I like. I was by no means “all-in”. Eventually I did get a little disappointed with the amount of space they took up in the aisle. In a blind-bag PDQ, these will be fine.

I thought the originals were cute, and I bought them as gifts, but not for myself. I’ll be interested to see what style they are using this time, and whether they’ll be compatible with the old versions.

I liked the Fighter Pods. I’m glad they’re back. Any word on what the first 12 will be? Are they straight repacks? I wonder why they re-branded. I guess the “Pods” referred to the clear plastic balls you could put the rubber figures in, but now they’ve figured out that people want the figures, not the balls. 🙂

I am honestly ok with this. I loved collecting the original Fighter Pods when they were out and now, I can collect them with my daughter. They are fun!
