Nice. I would be very tempted to see it twice in a row. But I might also prefer to sleep on it after seeing it the first time.

I’ve made it a tradition to get them ASAP after TFA and Rogue One. For TLJ, I was agonizing about whether to order them from Amazon or try to find them locally. (My local stores aren’t super-reliable about putting new books out on their release dates.) I put in a placeholder order on Amazon and then was pleased to get an e-mail that they will ship early so that they arrive at my home on 12/15.

So the new plan for release weekend is:
Thursday, 12/14: 7pm TLJ screening
Friday morning, 12/15: Walmart or Best Buy trip early a.m. to buy the soundtrack, listen to the soundtrack all morning at work
Friday afternoon, 12/15: leave work early for matinee TLJ screening
Friday evening, 12/15: book delivery, read all night
Saturday afternoon, 12/16: matinee TLJ screening with my wife and kids
Additional viewings of TLJ as warranted. 🙂
