The truth usually is. People these days get caught up in outrage culture. Getting facts is almost always secondary with most people.

Luke’s point of view was handled more like an afterthought.

People have an overly inflated value of their own opinions.

But isn’t that what happened? For years the movies have revolved around “from a certain point of view” and this movie is exactly about that. We find out the whole thing stems from Kylo’s point of view vilifying Luke for his moment of hesitation. Meanwhile we see the other angle and it fills in the audience on what Kylo didn’t know and Luke’s actions become much more realistic and understandable from his point of view.

It’s funny because I honestly felt the trailers told us this was exactly what we should be expecting from Luke. I wasn’t surprised at all personally. I was surprised that they made him more of the dotty mentor just like Yoda in Empire. It was funny and I felt it was an easily reasonable approach to him after a 30 year period where we know he’s been through a lot.

I highly doubt Rey is a Skywalker. That line will end with Ben. The three trilogies will see the birth and death of the Skylwalker clan.

My comment was for the most part directed at another 3 letter toy collecting web site, who for month’s and month’s, were pre-hating on the movie, and any of the toys reviewed, had a ‘skew’ to them that was directed at the movie.
