Are you projecting Mr. Leuk when you say that people are looking at things from a very insulated perspective? Should a Star Wars movie be divisive? Even more so than the prequels? This is a huge chunk of the fandom disliking this movie, and it has damaged the profitability of the franchise. Was the very successful Batman V. Superman any good for Justice League?
But I will say this; I did see the movie, and for the first time in my life I felt as if I had wasted my afternoon watching a Star Wars movie. The prequels did not do that to me; Force Awakens, did not do that to me. But this movie did. I felt as if I had been spat on.
This sequel trilogy is a dud. The main character was badly developed, and the universe itself is stale and repetitive, while old characters and concepts are tossed aside as if they were trash.

I wish they had killed Poe off in TFA as the script originally intended.

Right. Poe is this reckless idiot that just has to be tought reason by a much smarter character. That lorna whatever character would have made so much more sense as admiral ackbar. This forced feminism will only draw more criticism and will work against what we should all strive for: equality. The male characters in TLJ were caricatures of themselves. Why does everything have to have a message nowadays. Leia in the OT was a strong female doing the rescues without having to treat other as superior to communicate that message.

Me too. I enjoyed seeing these on the shelves, even just as a spectator. Compared to past lines such as Command, or angry bird, these were fine by me. If these toys helped turn some kids into little Star Wars fans, even better. I’m genuinely surprised the plug has been pulled so quickly.

Yeah- I’m guessing she isn’t in Hasbro’s ‘parking lot,’ either. Not that I’m great at it, but I may have to make a custom if I want a figure of her.
