The next release for Droid Factory Build-A-Droid Series 2 is now available with the release of R0-M1 and RJ-83 Droid Factory Figure Set from Star Wars Young Jedi Adventures.

In case that wasn’t enough, or Black Series isn’t your bag, plenty of Vintage Collection items are also arriving in the U.S.. If history is any indicator, the late summer and early fall will be murder on wallets and shelf space once again.

Since Hasbro cannot be bothered to provide realistic shipping dates, I’ll say that that all of these figures are now arriving in the U.S.. (Release date is supposed to be November.) Plan accordingly.

Disney has announced a new Droid Factory astromech, R7-D23 available later this month for D23 and Disney Store. Check out the link for info on this release as well as other D23 merchandise.

The annual Halloween-theme Droid Factory figure, R2-WRWLF “Werewolf”, is now available at DisneyStore.com.

In case you missed my post on social media over the weekend regarding SDCC news and coverage, I’m taking a step back from around the clock duties on Yakface and its social channels to focus on my mental health surrounding this hobby/Hasbro. I fear that if I allow myself to continue with this bitter attitude that has been festering for a while now regarding Hasbro in general, I’ll rage quit altogether. I’m not ready for that. Yet.

Some TVC collectors were understandably disappointed by Hasbro’s overall TVC showing at SDCC this year (the only thing that saved it for me was the reveal of the INT-4 Interceptor).

However, The Imperial Communique posted a great Q&A with the Hasbro team over this weekend at SDCC definitely worth watching.

Looking ahead to 2027, Hasbro pointed out a renewed focus toward world-building for TVC. They also indicated plans to “catch up” on characters tied to past Haslab projects. For example, an upcoming TVC “Ghost Multipack” is specifically mentioned about midway through the interview.

If this is indeed the plan, what say you? Would a TVC focus on rounding out characters associated with past Haslab items be what you have in mind for the 50th anniversary of the film that started it all?
