Jedi Insider alerts collectors (by way of Robot Kingdom) that a new wave of 3.75″ Black Series is coming soon to Walmart. The wave consists of Ahsoka Tano, Admiral Ackbar, Emperor’s Royal Guard and General Lando Calrissian – all of which are repacks from The Vintage Collection.
GTP Toys Update
After being completely amazed by the quality of their diorama Space Walls, I was fortunate enough to be able to see first hand how great a few of the other diorama pieces are shaping up through GTP Toys.
The boxes and barrel I received are rubber prototypes – the final product will be plastic and in line with the quality of the walls. I snapped a few pics, which can be seen here.
Everyone – I completely am sincere when I say these are some of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in the hobby. I’ve been an avid adult collecting enthusiast for over two decades now, and have always felt there was a gaping hole in my collection – environments to display my figures. Having these items in person, and setting them up is on par with the excitement of putting together the stellar BMF (Falcon) from several years ago because the quality is just that great. This is professional quality – not 3D printed with print lines. It’s top line product for an affordable price.
The only way the guys at GTP Toys are going to be able to continue to make products like this (including 3.75″ scale) is from support from the collecting community. So if you’re looking for a better way to display your collectibles, check them out!

TIE Striker: A Closer Look
Rebelscum forum member Nighthawk has posted some photos that reveal more of what we can expect with Hasbro’s new TIE Striker.
It appears the NERF features are removable, which should bring a collective sigh of relief to many buyers. And it looks like the wings may be comprised of a sturdier plastic than we saw with the TFA TIE Fighters.
5POA aside, maybe things are looking better for the actual quality of toys coming this Fall? Check out more pics as he continues to update with more details by clicking here.
