The Emmy Award-nominated series “Star Wars Resistance” returns for its second and final season beginning SUNDAY, OCT. 6 (10:00-10:30 p.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel and in DisneyNOW, with subsequent airings on Disney XD. The new season takes place during the events of “The Last Jedi” leading up to “The Rise of Skywalker,” as Kaz and the team continue to fight against the threat of the First Order, culminating in an epic series finale. An all-new season two trailer for “Star Wars Resistance” was released today on the Star Wars YouTube page.

EW.com has posted a first look at Team Fireball from Star Wars: Resistance. Here we get a great look at the animation style in action as well as a general vibe for the series.

Let’s hope Hasbro can support this new series with product better than they did with Star Wars Rebels.

Disney and Lucasfilm have released the first trailer for the upcoming Star Wars Resistance animated series which debuts this October.

EntertainentWeekly has posted two exclusive clips from next week’s new episode of Star Wars Rebels. In case you missed the tease from last night’s episode, Grand Moff Tarkin as come to Lothal and he is not pleased.

This April, attendees of Star Wars Celebration Anaheim will witness the global  premiere of Star Wars Rebels season two, which continues the epic adventures of the crew of the Ghost and further reveals the early days of the rebellion against the Empire.  Fans will be the first to see the first episode of season two following an encore screening of the series’ two-part season one finale.

With the Inquisitor hot on the Ghost’s tail, Kanan and Ezra split off in the Phantom to draw him away from the Imperial deserter, Tseebo. Stephen Stanton (The Clone Wars) tweeted an image last night showing some signage at Walmart and you’ll notice that the release date for Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion is listed for October 3 – the same day the special airs on the Disney Channel. This contradicts the October 14 release date stated back in August. Signage could be wrong, or Walmart has an exclusive distribution deal with Disney/Lucasfilm.

The global television debut of “Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion” is set for FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT in the U.S.) on Disney Channels around the world, ushering in the series “Star Wars Rebels” beginning MONDAY, OCTOBER 13 (9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD. The series will air in 34 languages across 163 countries in over 400 million households.

The television movie garnered rave reviews at last month’s San Diego Comic-Con fan event for its story (set between the events of Star Wars Episodes III and IV) and its look — akin to the classic Star Wars trilogy. The series designs are influenced by the work of original Star Wars concept artist Ralph McQuarrie.

The story unfolds during a dark time when the evil Galactic Empire is tightening its grip of power on the galaxy. Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet and are ruining the lives of its people. The motley but clever crew of the starship Ghost — cowboy Jedi Kanan, ace pilot Hera, street-smart teenager Ezra, the “muscle” Zeb, warrior firebrand Sabine, and cantankerous old astromech droid Chopper — is among a select few who are brave enough to stand against the Empire.
