In case you missed my post on social media over the weekend regarding SDCC news and coverage, I’m taking a step back from around the clock duties on Yakface and its social channels to focus on my mental health surrounding this hobby/Hasbro. I fear that if I allow myself to continue with this bitter attitude that has been festering for a while now regarding Hasbro in general, I’ll rage quit altogether. I’m not ready for that. Yet.

Hasbro Pulse has updated their product pages for their SDCC/Pulse exclusives. Preorders for the TBS AT-RT ($79.99) and TVC Anakin/Ventress ($51.99) sets will open on August 10 at 1pm ET for Premium Members and August 11 at 1pm ET for the general public.

Yesterday Hasbro announced another repaint of the X-wing Fighter mold for the Vintage Collection, this time with a retro Kenner-inspired deco. The nostaglia spills over onto the carded Luke Skywalker X-wing Pilot figure (VC420) and the R2-D2. Preorder opens on exclusively (for now) on Hasbro Pulse August 20 at 1pm ET for $139.99.

Calling back to the original 1970s and 1980s vintage Kenner toys, the X-wing Fighter features Kenner-inspired detailing, such as new deco on the starfighter and additions to the cockpit. Reimagine adventures in hyperdrive on your shelf with this articulated Luke Skywalker figure wearing pilot gear with Kenner deco, and his retro-inspired co-pilot R2-D2. Hasbro has officially revealed the rumored Amazon exclusive Black Series Clone Trooper pack today via a shared reveal with @thesithlord229. Priced at a ridiculous $57.99, this set includes 1 clone trooper with 4 alternate helmets, 3 swappable heads, 3 alternate shoulder pauldrons, 4 weapons and a hologram of Darth Sidious. The initial description had me hopeful but I’m passing on the preorder (July 25, 1pm ET) and playing the long-game with this for sure. I’d have paid $57.99 for Pong Krell this year. Too bad.

Disney Store now has the Black Series Jedi Temple Guards Set in stock ($59.99).
