As you’ve heard, General Mills Big G cereals (Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s Puffs, Golden Grahams, Cocoa Puffs, Trix, and Lucky Charms) now include eight collectable figure pens featuring various characters from Star Wars from now until the end of the year.

To kick off the promotion, General Mills is creating Star Wars-inspired “Edible Episodes” using the pens that will be posted to their Tumblr page, which is coming soon. (Check back in the next few days for the official link to be among the first to get a view of the Cereal Wars: “Edible Episodes.”)

Fans who share their favorite Star Wars scenes have the chance for it to be recreated into Vine and Instagram “Cereal Wars” videos. You can submit your idea directly on the site, below in the comment section, in our forums, on our Facebook page, or on Twitter (@yak_face). Each idea you submit will also qualify you for a chance to win one of two fantastic prizes!

The Directions:
Contestants are to create their own idea for a short video (one that may, if chosen, be made in Vine or Instagram video to be posted to the Cereal Wars Tumblr page) involving the Star Wars character pens. This could be an original scene using the pen characters, or it could be a recreation of their favorite scene from the series. You can check out examples on they Big G Tumblr page.

The Prizes:
If choose to submit a scene here, two (2) people will be chosen at random – by us – to win either a 501st Legion Trooper Replica Helmet by Master Replicas or a Luke Skywalker vs Darth Vader (Ralph McQuarrie Version) ARTFX Statue from Kotobukiya.

The contest runs from today (November 13) through November 22, 2013.
