Herocross has released new images for their upcoming set of Hybrid Metal Figuration figures (#024) of R2-D2 and C-3PO. Click on through for the details.

R2-D2 and C-3PO are the most iconic droids in the Star Wars movie universe. 

R2-D2 is an excellent starship mechanic and computer interface specialist. He is a brave, intelligent, bold and decisive navigation mechanic droid. Its body is very small, standing in at only 0.96 meters, filled with a variety of tools and mechanics inside, which is used to service aircraft and carry out covert missions. R2-D2 has three legs, left and right whilst idle, whilst the third center leg deploys when he’s moving. In our product, the center leg can be removed when it is not in use.

C-3PO is a droid which is made of recyclables components, he speaks more than 600 alien languages languages, he’s a smart and loyal droid built by Anakin Skywalker. HEROCROSS has given threepio with a high proportion of die-cast metal parts, and also features a fully poseable body with over 20 points of articulation. This gives the figure great mobility! 

C-3PO has also built in LED light in his eyes.

Herocross continues to expand its Hybrid Metal Figuration figures as R2-D2 and C-3P0 were on display at Toy Soul 2014. These super articulated/super deformed figures join Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Shadow Stormtrooper, Boba Fett and the Sandtrooper. Big Bad Toy Store is now taking preorders for the Herocross Hybrid Metal Figuration (019) Sandtrooper. The articulated figure stands about 5.5″ tall and includes multiple weapons and accessories.

The HMF #005 Stormtrooper is now shipping from Hong Kong figure maker HeroCross (previously 86 Hero). HMF (Hybrid Metal Figuration) figures are constructed of 70% metal and 30% PVC making them very weighty for their size. The Stormtrooper measures 14cm tall, features over 20 points of articulation and includes 3 pairs interchangeable hands and blaster and retails for about $85.00 (US).
