Hasbro unveiled four Vintage Collection offerings at this year’s NYCC and they were pretty good from a newness factor. Click on through to check them out.

He doesn’t like you. The good Dr. Cornelius Evazan makes his way back to the Vintage Collection for 2025 – perfect for populating your cantina should you have missed him earlier in the TVC line. He comes with a blaster, a messed up face and a new cardback. But you just watch yourself, he’s up for preorder this Wednesday. 

Feeling Hoth Hoth Hoth! It’s been a long time coming but the Vintage Collection has finally gotten an all-new Snowtrooper for 2025. It includes the standard E-11 blaster and soft goods for maximum effective poseability. Imperial troops will enter your collections starting this Wednesday at 1pm ET.

Jod Na Na Na, Jod Na Na Na, hey hey good buy? Mystery surrounds this new character Jod Na Nawood from the upcoming Skeleton Crew series but at least we are getting a new figure from a new show for the Vintage Collection, right? Right?

Hasbro has been hitting out of the park with beasts lately and the latest example is the Howler with Sabine Wren (Peridea) for the Vintage Collection. The Howler is an all-new animal featuring multiple points of articulation and swappable legs for sitting like a good boy. Sabine gets revised with swappable helmet/head option to address the helmet sizing issue from the previous release, plus an entertainment-inspired* soft goods poncho all on an oversized cardback. Preorders open this Wednesday through various retailers for $39.99 

*yeah, I said it.

Continuing their tradition of convention exclusives, Hallmark has announced a few more additions for this year including a new Boba Fett Itty Bitty figure complete with Vintage inspired blister card. You can check out this exclusive and more at SDCCBlog.org.

Just announced via Twitter, Mark Hamill is retiring from the autograph convention circuit (in the U.S.) and this year’s New York Comic Con will be the last place you’ll be able to get it!

Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments, itty bittys® and gifts among items planned at seven events

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 30, 2017) — PopMinded by Hallmark plans its highest-ever level of yearly participation at the nation’s largest pop culture fan gatherings with limited quantities of products and collectibles developed exclusively for events starting next month.

PopMinded, which debuted nationally last year, is Hallmark’s new way to celebrate fandom with gifts and collectibles created and chosen with all fans in mind. PopMinded continues and expands on Hallmark’s decade-long tradition of providing event attendees access to Hallmark’s ever popular event exclusive products through its event pop-up store.

The following items will be sold in limited quantities at Comic-Con International, to be held July 20-23 in San Diego, Calif.:

• T-70 X-Wing Fighter™, a Keepsake Ornament of Poe Dameron’s starfighter as depicted in the beginning of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. This repaint of a 2016 Keepsake Ornament includes sound between Poe & BB-8 before the starfighter was destroyed on Jakku and has a total production run of 3,275 and sales will be limited to 275 per day.
• A Walrus Man™ itty bittys plush adds to the Mos Eisley Cantina crowd with a the throw-back again to the original action figures and packaging. This has a total production run of 4,000 and sales will be limited to 300 per day.
• The Imperial R2-Q5™ droid becomes part of the astromech droid-themed perpetual calendar and features an additional set of date cubes in aurebesh, the famed language used throughout the Star Wars galaxy. The calendar has a total production run of 1,600, and 170 of them will be offered for sale each day.

Also in July, Hallmark Gold Crown Stores will host a PopMinded display and event complete with exclusives and a sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip to New York Comic Con this October. Fans can visit participating Hallmark Gold Crown stores from July-August:

• Imperial Stormtrooper™ Keepsake Ornament blind box offers three different repainted versions of the Stormtrooper helmet from the 2016 Keepsake Ornament line, offered in metallic black, red or silver. Includes sound from Star Wars: A New Hope. 
• Greedo™ itty bittys plush is the final addition to the Mos Eisley Cantina crew, dawning the throw-back to the original action figures and packaging. A limited number of these will also be made available at Comic-Con International in San Diego, New York Comic Con and Hallmark.com
• Greedo™ itty bittys Christmas ornament is based on the movie-version of one of the most famous bounty hunters in the galaxy. A limited number of these will also be made available on Hallmark.com.
• R2-BHD™ The silver-clad droid that helped the Resistance in Star Wars: Rogue One is a variant version of the astromech droid-themed perpetual calendar from the Star Wars line of gifts. A limited number of these will also be made available on Hallmark.com.

Things are starting to get underway in the “Big Apple” for this year’s NYCC. Sideshow has just revealed their Rogue One Jyn Erso (Eadu) Premium Format figure. Click the image above for a closer look.

An eBay seller in Hong Kong has listed new auctions show 2 new sets of Black Series Titanium Series Helmets. Set 03 includes Darth Vader and Stormtrooper and set 04 includes First Order Special Force TIE Fighter Pilot and Black Leader Poe Dameron. These helmets were first revealed back at NYCC in October.

Beginnings: Boba Fett™ – Inspired by the work of renowned conceptual designer Ralph McQuarrie, this Keepsake Ornament two-pack features the fan-favorite bounty hunter who first appeared in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. One ornament details Boba Fett’s helmet as originally sketched while the other depicts an all-white full-costume concept.

Princess Leia™ and Jabba the Hutt™ – This exclusive itty bittys plush two-pack features the slug-like crime lord and his bikini-clad prisoner as seen in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. 

Both will be available exclusively at Comic-Con International, July 21-24 in San Diego, Calif., and at New York Comic Con, Oct. 6-9, in New York City.
