The Force United (TheForceUnited.com) returns to Star Wars Celebration Anaheim. The sites included are Jedi Business, Jedi News, Jedi Temple Archives, Star Wars Forum UK, Star Wars Report and Yakface. The sites will take turns to cover the booth (1074) and help each other to ensure as many panels and talks are covered as possible. Click on through for the details.

As in previous years, The Force United has created some exclusive goodies for Star Wars Celebration Anaheim which include a set of six trading cards featuring the logos of each site and when put together the reverse makes up an image of Oola created by Mark Daniel of Sublevel Studios.  In addition a vintage inspired Star Wars logo patch will also be available.

Continuing a tradition that started in 2005 and has carried through all U.S. Celebrations since, six regional Star Wars collecting clubs will be giving away custom patches at their booths at Celebration Anaheim 2015. Each Lucasfilm-approved patch is fully embroidered and depicts an action figure from the vintage Star Wars line by Kenner. Collect all six to complete your set of Bounty Hunters from The Empire Strikes Back!

The patches will be available free of charge, and only 1000 sets will be produced. Each club will set their own distribution schedule and policies. You can find the patches at the following booths:

The Washington DC Area Star Wars Collecting Club (DCSWCC) is pleased to announce their exciting booth activities for Star Wars Celebration VI!

Sarlacc Bean Bag Toss will let you relive the adventures of Klaatu the Skiff Guard, as you toss innocent beanbags to their fate of being slowly digested over a thousand years!  Get the bags into the sarlacc’s mouth and earn not only the admiration of your friends and fellow fans, but one of our officially licensed embroidered patches.

After that, travel to the forest moon of Endor to be roasted over a fire by the locals!  It’s a photo-op you’ll never forget as you put your face in place of Han Solo’s as he hangs on the spit over the ewoks’ fire (don’t worry, we told them to point their spears someplace else).

While you are at the booth, take a look at the DCSWCC pins.  Each year, we create a unique cloisonne lapel pin to represent the DCSWCC and our love of Star Wars.  After getting official approval from Lucasfilm, the pins are sold to raise funds for a local children’s charity.  This year, all proceeds benefit CureSearch for Children’s Cancer (www.CureSearch.org).  Be the first to see the 2012 design, which will be revealed at 10:30 Thursday morning in a special ceremony!
