Hasbro – by way of fan channel retailers – has been pumping out a lot of reissues lately through what they are dubbing “The Comeback Collection”. I’d be on the look out for some new (old) items dropping this week for The Black Series and Vintage Collection.

As a quick reminder. Target will be releasing their exclusive reissues for the Vintage Collection Bom Vimdin ($16.99), Bib Fortuna ($16.99) and Gamorrean Guard ($24.99) this Sunday (Oct. 5). If you have any of them preordered, check your status as they should start updating to “preparing” now.

Hasbro continues their reissues program for the Black Series line today with preorders for the Clone Trooper (Halloween Edition) and the Incinerator Trooper Helmet. These are available through our sponsor Entertainment Earth and other fan channel retailers at 1pm ET.

As we reported a couple weeks ago, Hasbro is continuing today their reissues program for the Black Series line. Today at 1pm ET collectors can preorder Hera Syndulla (Star Wars Rebels), Sabine Wren (Star Wars Rebels) and Ahsoka Tano (The Clone Wars) via sponsor Entertainment Earth and other fan channel retailers.

BBTS has started to send out notifications regarding the long-standing preorder for TBS Captain Rex and they are confirming its re-release for October 2024. Preorders should reopen next week through various fan channel retailers for Rex and other Black Series reissues starting next Thursday.

Over the past few months we have seen Hasbro launch a program across many of their licenses and IP that gets some older, in-demand and expensive (on the secondary market) products back in circulation. This program was unoffically announced via online retailer Nerdzoic several months ago via a YouTube video. Black Series helmets have been the most predominantly reissued items thus far for Star Wars but now it looks like many of the Black Series figures that were rumored for re-release are about to get under way.

Monday we saw the reissue of Amazon exclusive Black Series Emperor Palpatine with Throne (albeit in new packaging, with a new SKU and code name), and late last month we saw the inadvert solicitation of Ahsoka, Hera and Sabine by sponsor/affiliate Entertainment Earth.

Doing some additional research, I found that several older figures have been loaded into systems and have release dates of August through October of this year. Here is what I found thus far, in no particular order*, and there will likely be more if the original Nerdzoic list comes to bear:
