I was checking out few things on Entertainment Earth and stumbled across two (unannounced?) skateboards from Santa Cruz featuring Captain Phasma and BB-8. These join the 4 previous character decks revealed for The Force Awakens.

Four new Star Wars skateboard decks are available in either “Collector’s Edition” or “Shred Ready” models so fans can set up one to ride or keep the other in its highly collectible packaging. The “Collector’s Edition” is packaged in a vintage toy inspired blister pack and includes a laser etched numbered deck, matching the laser cut Certificate of Authenticity, and a deck art poster. The “Shred Ready” model comes in standard shrink-wrapped packaging.

The cruzer offering consists of four extremely functional shapes and sizes adorned with vintage-inspired, Santa Cruz illustrated portraits of classic Star Wars characters.

A standout piece in the collection is the Boba Fett™ Wood Inlay deck.

Our friends at JediDefender posted news today that Star Wars Tech Decks (from Spin Master) have started showing up at Target hot off the announcement from Santa Cruz. For the uninitiated, Tech Decks are mini skateboards (about 3.5″-4″ depending on board style) that reproduce current or vintage skateboard designs. Seeing as that I grew up a “skater”, these will definitely be on my radar to acquire. The question is, can I still land a pop shove-it to 5-0 grind?
