Adidas has announced a new Star Wars themed shoe to tie in to the merchandise release for The Rise of Skywalker.

The latest in the co-branded Star Wars l Po-Zu limited edition footwear range has been announced by Po-Zu today. Joining the women’s Silver Linen RESISTANCE High Top, a Limited-Edition High Top Bronze Leather RESISTANCE Sneaker for men available to pre-order today.

Star Wars fans and sneaker collectors now have the opportunity to order 1 of the 1,000 limited production run, each pair stamped with a unique number on the tongue’s lining (see close-up image).

Handcrafted in Portugal, these limited-edition Sneakers are made from chrome-free leather, and feature a raised-embossed official Rebel Alliance logo, cushioned tongue, quilted rear panel, removable memory foam Foot-Mattress™ (allows orthotics placement), and a high-performance grip natural latex sole.

Retailing at £185 and available to pre-order exclusively online at www.po-zu.com, the limited-edition sneakers will be available to ship at the end of November ahead of the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi this December and in time for Christmas.

The current RESISTANCE range consists of highly wearable organic cotton high-top sneakers for women, men and kids alongside the editions inspired by the main characters in the film such as Rey, Poe, Finn, Chewbacca, BB-8 and stormtroopers.

Fans of the range will be able to view the full collection at the Museum of Brands for London Design Festival from 1st September – 12^th November.

Vans teams up with the Star Wars brand once again, this time exploring the dark side of the Force to introduce new designs inspired by villains from the original trilogy. Taking cues from the summer collection, the Vans x Star Wars holiday offering extends through Classics footwear to men’s apparel and accessories combining heritage Vans prints with Star Wars villains from around the galaxy.

The sophomore collection kicks off with the Era, which introduces the storm camo, a black and white winter camouflage shoe featuring images of Imperial Stormtroopers. The blended Star Wars and Van Doren Pirate print returns this holiday after first being released for a limited run in the Vault by Vans collection. The archived Vans print has been updated replacing the original skull and sword configuration with images of Darth Vader, Stormtrooper helmets and lightsabers. The reissued Vans x Star Wars graphic is highlighted on a black-to-the-floor Sk8-Hi and is carried into men’s apparel with a t-shirt, three snapbacks and backpack. The Classic Slip-On mirrors the sinister, all-black motif with a portrait print of the Sith Lord himself, Darth Vader. The Authentic rounds out the assortment with a scene of good versus evil, presenting iconic imagery from life on ice planet Hoth. Kids and toddlers will also get to walk on the dark side with takedowns of the adult Era and Authentic prints, but will receive an exclusive pattern on the Classic Slip-On. Echo Base, Hoth (In Celebration of May The Fourth) – Vans takes off to a galaxy far, far away for an out-of-this-world collection featuring artwork from the original Star Wars trilogy. The Force is strong in this intergalactic offering that extends from Classics and Vault by Vans footwear to men’s apparel and women’s accessories. By combining heritage Vans prints with iconic Star Wars characters, both entities present a truly unique capsule this universe has never seen before.

The Vans x Star Wars collection kicks off with a six-piece offering from Classics. Aligning with the Dark Side, Vans introduces two colorways of the Authentic featuring Boba Fett and Stormtrooper characters. The Boba Fett camo color-up enhances the bounty hunter’s disguise alongside the Death Star, Darth Vader and the Stormtrooper to paint a dark scene of the evil Empire. The second style surfaces in the Stormtrooper bandana print that mashes up one of Vans archived patterns with the Galactic Empire’s henchmen for a discreet, all-over arrangement. Yoda brings balance to the Force with his special takes on the Authentic and Sk8-Hi Reissue.
