There were several fake Yakface Facebook pages set up today and have been sending messages to potential victims about winning prizes. THIS IS FALSE AND ARE LIKELY SCAM ACCOUNTS. Hopefully you caught our social media notifications and announcements via Twitter, Instagram and Patreon as (per usual) Target and Hasbro resorted to a 3am ET product drop (on a Sunday) for the exclusive Vintage Collection Antoc Merrick’s X-wing. It lasted about 35-40 minutes.

Well, I’ve had a lot of requests to create a Patreon page for the site in recent weeks, and after some encouragement, I’ve decided to open one. First and foremost, thank you to all of the yakface.com followers (site and social media) for the kind words lately regarding keeping collectors up-to-date with the latest rumors and (disastrous) preorder launches. (It blows me away that corporations the size of Hasbro and Walmart can screw preorders up so badly and on so many levels.)

For the most part, the Patreon page will serve as a blog separate from the site with some more random thoughts but it will still include occasional previews of upcoming articles, rumors, announcements and more. Patreon members can also make content suggestions as well.

We’ll see how this goes as I do spend a lot of my free time hunting for unannounced product which I’m sure will interest you more than my ramblings anyway. Donate what you wantper month – there’s no tiered levels of content at this point.

As you are probably aware, Hasbro’s asking collectors like you  for input on figures to fill upcoming waves in the comeback of The Vintage Collection.

So, we thought now would be a great time to remind our readers of some of the amazing concepts for new figures using a combination of new and existing molds that were posted in our forums by different fans, most notably, Yakface Forum moderator localgotal.
