I am only about halfway through it so my entire review is not yet ready, but I can tell you, that this is EXACTLY how I expected Mace Windu to be written. Imagine a cross between Yoda, Shaft, and Samuel L Jackson’s character in Pulp Fiction. I keep expecting Mace to say something like “Do you know what divine intervention is?” or “Reach in there and pull out my Lightsaber, it’s the one that says Bad M….” anyway, you get the idea. Star Wars Galaxies is off to a far less than stellar start. Launch on June 26th 2003 has been met with limited software availability (did you pre-purchase YOURS in January) and server outages. Many have had problems even subscribing at all. That has all culminated with a total server outage that occurred last night and is expected to last until Noon EST today.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s hoping they get it up and operational for the weekend otherwise I can imagine there will be a lot of upset Jedi-wannabes.

The Hazleton, PA Wal-Mart got the new repackaged Luke (ROTJ) and Vader Lightsabers today. These are in the brand new Saga packaging, so these are some of the first items to come out in that packaging. I believe the sabers are subtitled “Throne Room Duel” on the boxes. The toys themselves look exactly the same as the originals from what I could tell.<\/p>\n

They had 1 of each of these along with Yoda sabers, a Mace Windu saber, and I believe an Anakin one. They had Yoda sabers before, but not the others, so these look to be only 1 per case in a case with other sabers.

“Found five of the new carded figures at WalMart in
\nGurnee, Illinois yesterday morning. They were also
\nfound in Round Lake, Illinois. It appears that C-3PO
\nis the short pack of the bunch. Also, a little trivia:
\non the card backs showing the figues to be released,
\nJango Fett moves and replaces the figure packed on
\neach of the cards and does not appear on his own card.
\nThe bubbles on the five found are not as flimsy as the

I ran across\u00a0THIS ARTICLE<\/a>\u00a0this morning that talks about the webcam that is going to be available during the shooting of Star Wars Episode III (you have to be a Star Wars.com subscriber to access the webcam). Sounds like the cam will be on for 12 hours a day during shooting and then they’ll loop the content for the other 12 hours. I’m pretty excited about this feature…may be worth the $20 a year!<\/span><\/p>\n
