My Hobby Box of the newest Topps trading card line, the Heritage series, arrived in the mail yesterday much to my excitement. I opened each of the packs searching for my very own sketch card or autograph card amidst the cards which looked so familiar from days long gone. While I will admit I was not happy with the sketch card I got, the auction featured today is not a disappointment in the least.<\/p>\n

Artist Killian Plunkett has created an entire tryptic vignette capturing the real theme of Episode III, with Anakin’s dual personalities and alliances are illustrated. The drawing of Anakin\/Vader is done on a Heritage card, and to go one step further Plunkett has made an entire set-piece in which the card itself fits in. The coloring and the likenesses are quite breathtaking in this artwork. Although the price may be out of the range of some collectors, this is a one of a kind item that must be seen to be appreciated.<\/p>\n
