So I picked up two Imperial Shuttles on Sunday, but it took a little work. Thanks to your DPCI info, a friend of mine called over and got them to find them in the back room. Just something to note, which the cashier thankfully missed: On the side of Hasbro box that they were shipped in (2 to a box), there is a sticker that says “LIMITED TIME ONLY. Street date: Saturday, November 25th, 2006 6pm” So if your local Target is ‘following the rules,’ you might have to wait until after Black Friday to see these on the shelf.<\/i><\/p>\n

I wanted to add something to the Shuttle finding post on yakface.com.Some Target stores (namely the ones in my area)are holding the Shuttle in the back for the 25th-26th Ad. There is a pink label on it that states it should not be put out until the 25th. So, some of you my have Target stores that are loose about letting people get the shuttles early, some are very strict like mine are. Just a little warning to you all.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Just adding my two cents into the Target Shuttle exclusive. Not much to add other then the fact that the Shuttle is pictured in the 11\/26 Sunday Ad and it does say limited time only and that it does indeed have a street date. So some people have been lucky finding them early, but technically the likelihood is that these will be out on shelves on Sunday. Also on a side note the 30th anniversary tin sets have finally shown up at Target as well and they are $5 less than TRU being priced at $24.99 and in fact they are currently on ad at Target for $23.74. They had all but A New Hope when I was there. That appears to be the hardest one to get as I have yet to see it anywhere.<\/i><\/p>\n

Looks like the long-rumored IMPERIAL SHUTTLE whose existance is still being denied by Hasbro to this day, has turned up in the Target comps with a scheduled ad date for the week of 11\/26 – 12\/2. It’s also listed as being available for a “limited time”.<\/p>\n

REMEMBER, until someone actually sees one of these bad boys on a shelf or Hasbro finally breaks the silence, this is all speculation.<\/p>\n

A couple days ago this sign went up at my local Target store and I thought “collector’s edition Vader? Surely our faithful Yak readers will want to know about that!!” So I snapped a pic with my trusty phone with one ‘o them new fangled cameras in it.<\/p>\n

However, when I took a closer look, the sign had a promo date of 3\/15\/05. “Crap” I thought, “someone just screwed up” and I thought nothing else about it.<\/p>\n

However this morning, a friend of mine spotted the SAME sign at an entirely different Target. So now my coincidence alarm goes off. IS there something on the horizon (and they’re just re-cycling the signs from the Lava Vader promo) or did two different Targets make the same mistake?<\/p>\n

“After reading the info on the site I had to chime in with my info. Today at my local Target, I asked an employee about new figs. We checked the inventory and they had new figs in the back. He went to pull a case and when he came back nothing. He told me all they had was G.Battle and cases of Vader’s. I thought the guy was blowing me off until I read Yak today. They have Vader’s in the back so maybe something is coming up!!”<\/p>\n

Maybe indeed. If ANYONE has some more info as to what this could be, and in a perfect world, perhaps a photo, you’ll be one of our best friends like Tracy!<\/p>\n

FINAL UPDATE<\/span><\/b>\u00a0OK, I think we have the mystery solved. Turns out those signs WERE recycled from the ’05 Lava Vader promo for use with the ’06 TITANIUM LAVA VADER, which about five people in the country seemed to care about. So that about wraps that up. But most importantly, an all new figure: the Clone Commander “Airborne Trooper”. Look for this figure to be included in the ’07 line with the movie accurate Utapau paint scheme.
