Tonight while opening a case of Mission Series figures that I just received from Entertainment Earth<\/a>, I noticed that Sabine’s helmet had a markedly different appearance than the one(s) I have found at retail. Click on through for the details of this interesting variant.<\/p>\n

As you can see in the comparison photos below, Sabine’s helmet has two distinctly different paint apps. The one on the left (DS 43001) came from the sets\u00a0I received today. It has a mostly black visor, with black “cresents” that extend vertically above each eye. The one on the right (DS 43211) has a two tone visor treatment with burgundy “cresents” above each eye. The latter should be considered the correct version as indicated by the date stamp. All of the Sabine\/Stormtrooper I’ve found at retail feature the correct deco, while the ones currently shipping from Entertainment Earth<\/a> are the earlier (43001) date stamp with black details. Since this is clearly a variant and not an error, we will be adding this variant to our toyguide<\/a> soon.<\/p>\n
