Experience That Brings Lightsaber\u2122 Duels to a New Level<\/b><\/p>\n

BURBANK, Calif. \u2013 (May 26, 2014)<\/b>\u00a0Disney Interactive today released new assets and information for\u00a0Star Wars<\/i>\u2122: Twilight of the Republic<\/i>, one of the three\u00a0Star Wars<\/i>\u2122 Play Sets to be released for\u00a0Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition<\/i>\u00a0this year.\u00a0 Developed by Ninja Theory, in partnership with Avalanche Software, the game is set to deliver an authentic family-friendly\u00a0Star Wars<\/i>\u00a0game experience with enhanced combat system.<\/p>\n

Set during the latter years of the Clone Wars, players will travel to four locations and explore open worlds of Tatooine and Coruscant, battle droids in Geonosis and partake in an epic boss battle in Naboo. Along the way, players will use the Force\u2122\u00a0<\/b>and master their Lightsaber\u2122 skills as they fight alongside Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda to save the Republic and defeat the Separatists.<\/p>\n

Each Jedi character is given specialized Force combat abilities and Force finishing moves, as well as unique Lightsaber forms with powerful combo attacks. As Jedi Master Yoda, for example, players will leap into action with his agile and acrobatic prowess. Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano uses her lightning-fast dual Lightsabers to carve up Battledroids, while Darth Maul uses his double-bladed Lightsaber and power in the dark side of the Force in a death-defying duel against the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Star Wars<\/i>\u2122: Twilight of the Republic\u00a0<\/i>Play Set is included in the\u00a0Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition<\/i>\u00a0Starter Pack available this fall for $64.99, which also includes the\u00a0Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition<\/i>\u00a0Base, Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker character figures, and a web code card that unlocks content for PC and mobile devices.\u00a0The game is rated E10+ by the ESRB\u00a0and will be available this fall.<\/p>\n

Two additional\u00a0Star Wars\u00a0<\/i>Play Sets will be available for\u00a0Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition<\/i>\u00a0this holiday, including\u00a0Star Wars<\/i>\u2122: Rise Against the Empire<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0Star Wars<\/i>\u2122: The Force Awakens<\/i>. In addition, players will be able to unlock the ability for all\u00a0Star Wars<\/i>\u00a0characters to play inside all of the\u00a0Star Wars<\/i>\u00a0Play Sets, as well as in the newly enhanced Toy Box, along with all characters previously released for\u00a0Disney Infinity<\/i>.<\/p>\n
