(March 16, 2017) \u2014 Commemorating 40 years of\u00a0<i>Star Wars: A New Hope<\/i>, PopMinded by Hallmark will arrive at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.starwarscelebration.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><i>Star Wars\u00a0<\/i>Celebration<\/a>\u00a0with a new Keepsake Ornament and three new additions to the popular line of itty bittys\u00ae plush collectibles available exclusively at the fan event. PopMinded continues and expands on Hallmark\u2019s decade-long tradition of providing event attendees access to Hallmark\u2019s ever popular event exclusive products through its event pop-up store.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ox-50c0beaf3f-MsoNormal\"><b>Beginnings: Stormtrooper\u2122<\/b>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hallmark.com\/keepsake-ornaments\/\" target=\"_blank\">keepsake ornament<\/a>\u00a0features the shield-carrying, lightsaber-wielding armored soldier\u00a0inspired by the styling of famed artist Ralph McQuarrie in preproduction art for\u00a0<i>Star Wars: A New Hope<\/i>. In the 40 years since their creation, McQuarrie\u2019s original visions for the\u00a0<i>Star Wars<\/i>\u00a0galaxy of characters, vehicles and planets continues to inspire and delight fans. Beginnings: Stormtrooper has a total production run of 2,600 and sales will be limited to 650 per day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ox-50c0beaf3f-MsoNormal\">This is Hallmark\u2019s 21st\u00a0year of producing Keepsake Ornaments that capture favorite memories of the\u00a0<i>Star Wars<\/i>\u00a0saga, including event-exclusive ornaments that first were produced in 2008.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ox-50c0beaf3f-MsoNormal\"><b>Snaggletooth\u2122<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>Hammerhead\u2122<\/b>\u00a0bring the Mos Eisley Cantina to Hallmark\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hallmark.com\/itty-bittys\/\" target=\"_blank\">itty bittys<\/a>\u00ae line. Hammerhead and a red-suited version of Snaggletooth itty bittys\u00ae are designed and packaged\u00a0with a nod to the original\u00a0<i>Star Wars<\/i>\u00a0action figures.Each itty bitty, packaged in a blister card, has a total production run of 3,000 and sales will be limited to 750 per day.\u00a0In addition, a blue-suited Snaggletooth will be available \u201cloose\u201d, not carded and has a total production run of 1,000 with sales limited to 250 per day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ox-50c0beaf3f-MsoNormal\">Dozens of heroes, villains and creatures of\u00a0<i>Star Wars<\/i>\u00a0now figure among the iconic characters of film, comics and television to appear as uniquely styled plush itty bittys\u00ae exclusively in Hallmark Gold Crown\u00ae stores and online at Hallmark.com.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ox-50c0beaf3f-MsoNormal\">In addition to the event exclusive product, fans can also purchase a commemorative poster and button set, designed by a Hallmark artist and in very limited quantities. There will also be a limited number of Hallmark Gold Crown store products made available for purchase at the onsite PopMinded pop-up store. One of those items is a\u00a0<i>Star Wars Rebels<\/i>\u00a0Ahsoka Tano\u2122 ittty bitty that is only available on Hallmark.com, will be offered during a signing with the voice of Ahsoka, Ashley Eckstein.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ox-50c0beaf3f-MsoNormal\">PopMinded will continue the tradition of exclusive buttons, handed out in limited quantities with a different design released each day of the convention.
