The\u00a0Yakface Toyguide<\/a>\u00a0updates resume today with\u00a0the addition of the Toys”R”Us exclusive 6″ Black Series\u00a0Rey (Jedi Training) Crait<\/a>\u00a0figure.<\/p>\n

PROS:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0The upgraded deco and soft goods for Rey make this far superior (in my opinion) to the standard Black Series figure release. The inclusion \u00a0of diecast weapons are a nice touch as they feel weighty in the hand and add a bit more authenticity to the figure. The included Crait base components are nicely sculpted and painted. It will be interesting to see how this environment and Rey interact in the film.<\/p>\n

CONS:<\/strong>\u00a0I, and I think many, feel that issuing superior versions of the same character in such close proximity to the initial figure release date reinforces the practice of collectors waiting out inital product launches. Despite the improvements to the figure and the inclusion of the environmental base, the price of this exclusive at 75% markup over the basic Black Series figure seems excessive.<\/p>\n
