At the risk of sounding like a whiner\/complainer to some readers, I thought I’d bring attention to another issue with Plastic-Free Packaging (PFP): the apparent retouching of images to “fluff up” the asethetic of products insofar as to change the appearance of how the product is constructed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reveal yesterday of the Din Djarin (Morak)<\/strong> figure shone a light on this as the packaging clearly shows pinless construction of the knee joints, but as we know from the Migs Mayfeld (Morak)<\/strong> body on which this is based, the figure features fully visible holes\/pins on the inner and outer sides of each knee joint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, we’ve all seen product disclaimers stating “product shown in fantasy situations”, “product does not fly” or “some poses may require additional support” but do we as consumers really need to be concerned if the picture matches the product in final form in terms of sculpt?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe PFP should stand for “Pinless-Free Photography”<\/strong> in this case if truth in advertising is to be upheld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
