Prices will continue to rise. There\u2019s little hope for things turning back especially when it comes to large corporations in that regard. There is no \u201cright\u201d or \u201cwrong\u201d way to collect what you enjoy and want (apart from blatant theft). If you are the type of collector that has \u201cthe sickness\u201d and continues to buy things on autopilot most of the time (I probably fall into that category more than I\u2019d like to admit – I guess I just did), reevaluating your personal collecting \u201cstyle\u201d is something you should do, now more than ever. If you\u2019re the more discerning type of collector, who has willpower and\/or just a strong grasp on what you will and won\u2019t support, I applaud you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of us have been \u201cvoting with our wallets\u201d since the beginning. Buying something enthusiastically or disgruntley makes absolutely NO<\/strong> difference in the end. A sale is a sale.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There has been a recent push to contact Hasbro customer service<\/strong><\/a> to make your voices heard regarding this latest round of price increases and I 100% support that action. Do so respectfully and calmly, but make your voices heard to those who set the MSRPs – hint: it\u2019s not the brand managers, product designers or social media faces you see regularly.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some will say \u201cfinally Yakface\/Jayson \u2018the corporate shill\u2019 \u2018Hasbro defender\u2019 \u2018promoter\u2019 is saying no to Hasbro!\u201d, and to that I\u2019d say you really haven\u2019t been paying attention have you?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
