Customizer Mega Spotlight

Tonight we take a closer look at some of the great custom efforts by Yakface forum members.

Kicking things off are some of those Stormtrooper slaughtering defenders of Endor… if Ewoks are your thing (and even if they’re not), you need to check out some amazing stuff by forumiteLuke Sprywalker here.

Next up we take a look at a great smuggler figure and several other customs by JediMerc.

Darth Cain also shares his latest custom figures, including a very cool rendition of Jodo Kast and many others here.

Last but certainly not least, check out blaster_e11‘s take on Quarren Sith Lord Darth Azard.

Yakfinities Customizing Challenge Update

Due to popular demand, the 2011 Yakfinities Customizing Challenge schedule has changed to a quarterly event, which means the current theme will run through the end of March.

Yakfinities #40 is currently in the discussion phase, and the voting will begin next week.

In the meantime, this gives everyone some more time as there is still another month to complete entries for the current theme, Alien Military Forces!

Photonovel Mega Spotlight

Tonight we focus on some of the hard work being put forth by the photonovel customizers amongst us.

First we highlight the launch of a fun new series starring many of our beloved heroes from the original trilogy, by mattman212121. The first installment is titled Force Exodus – Prologue.

Next up is the latest work by Darth Kikinou – be sure to check out the new work in his Guardians of Peace and Justice series with his two recent additions here and here. His latest installments are inspired by a movie series loved by millions of fans, so be ready for some fun surprises!

After that we are also impressed by the many hours of dedication that Darth Depressis has devoted to bring readers with his CGI style – check out his most recent photonovel chapter,Madness of the Clone Emperor.

Last but certainly not least, forumite jlw515 rounds things out with the continuation of his series, Vader’s Quest which presents a fun parody of a memorable sequence from Full Metal Jacket.
