I don’t even care if I see this movie the last 2 turds Disney put out has killed Star Wars. I can wait for Redbox

MAY THE BEIGE BE WITH YOU!

These covers do nothing for me. It’s weird I am not excited for this movie at all. I was for R1 but this not feeling it yet. TFA really spoiled my outlook on the new trilogy and so far I am not liking the direction from the sounds of it. Like everyone else I will find out in December if its at least better than TFA.

Where is the love for R2? He is totally being ignored.

    • John Titus

And Chewbacca. Like Mark Hamill said if you’re looking to recapture your childhood memories from the first films forget about it. He mentioned how he couldn’t believe how the new director viewed Luke. That sounds bad. And with Kennedy at the helm it’s now a SJW conduit more than about honoring the core philosophies of the original trilogy.

      I’ll give it a chance.

      • There will be no pleasing some with this film. The first was “too much like a rehash of ANH” so they’ll depart greatly from what’s come before and it won’t “feel like Star Wars”. The LFL story group is in their own version of the Kobayashi Maru – the “no win” scenario.

        • JACKOFTRADZE

I think that is a fair assessment however I do think their can be a balance, R1 proved that.

One thing that they could have pleased a lot more people with in regards to this cover was to keep the politics off of it.

          • JACKOFTRADZE

LOL, I like how Kylo cut his own cape with his lightsaber with his Gislane the SW Kid spin move.

I am not closing my mind until I see the film but I still have reservations. Also, like EP7, what do they have against the previous alien designs of the 6 films. I makes me sad not to see a Rodian or Nikto etc thrown in for some familiarity. Nice to see C-3P0 back to normal. 6 months to go.

          • C-3PO was back to normal at the end of TFA

          • JACKOFTRADZE

I did not even notice. I watched it 3 times and have no desire to watch again. Thanks for letting me know, ?I will look next time. It was a really pointless change.

Just curious, how come my reply to the google gal was removed but not the google gal?

Agreed, especially on the Kennedy front, it’s very apparent in all of the new media to the point where it feels really forced. That statement from Hamill really concerns me too. This whole Jedi Order being a big lie thing is not sending the right vibes. It almost feels they are going for too much of a twist that will have a major ripple effect on everything before it in a negative way. (Will we watch everything before this as a lie from a certain point of view? I really did not like TFA at all but I loved every minute of R1, that is the only thing giving me some hope.

The fact that they are continuing to ignore R2 really bothers me, even Chewie got some nice love in TFA. R2, According to Lucas was the one character that viewed it all, yet he had a tarp over him so they could push BB. I will judge once I see the final product but everything I am seeing and hearing is not sending good vibes. This is the first time I am not excited about a SW movie which is really weird since I always wanted to see Jedi Master Luke Skywalker in action.

I feel the same way not getting excited for episode eight. Rogue one was Great but episode seven left me a little upset. Not likeing the direction of the new trilogy.

Wow, $97 per hour!!!! I am really happy for you but I prefer Bing over Google has proved they do evil so I do my best to avoid them. Thanks anyway Nanniel!

    • SpaceKnight

I am glad it’s not only me.

  • Paulskywalker

The cape on Kylo Ren makes him look more like the Anakin concept art. Phasma looks a bit more tough looking, maybe this time she won’t be so easily captured. Poe has a Han Solo vibe going on a bit more this time. I like Leia coat, very regal.

    • Paulskywalker

Oh and old Luke feels very much like old Ben now.

  • Fiery Little One

    What’s changed is interesting.

  • Brian Beck

I’m kinda excited for Kelly Tran, and what her character does.

  • the VC Phasma will be an easy one. The BS repack with new head and force pike.
